Google Gemini Now Available on iPad

Google has officially launched a dedicated version of Gemini for iPad, offering a fully optimized large-screen experience and powerful AI features.

Google has officially released a dedicated version of its Gemini app for iPad. Previously, iPad users could only access the iPhone version in compatibility mode. Now, the app is fully optimized for larger screens and offers extended capabilities.

Key features include support for split-screen mode, allowing users to run Gemini alongside other apps. The iPad version also brings tools for real-time conversations in over 45 languages (Gemini Live), report generation (Deep Research), audio file analysis (Audio Overview), and even image and video generation directly on the device. Additionally, the Canvas feature lets users collaboratively edit documents and code with AI assistance.

According to developers, Audio Overview now supports over 45 languages. The app can also be added as a home screen widget and linked to your Google Photos library.

The updated Gemini app is available now in all supported countries via the App Store.
