Photoshop and Premiere Now Understand Natural Language Commands
Adobe introduces AI agents in Photoshop and Premiere Pro that respond to natural language and image analysis, making editing easier and faster. Users can now control complex features using plain text prompts.

Adobe has integrated agentic AI into Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Photoshop now features a new actions panel — a pop-up window that suggests edits based on the content of the image. For example, the AI can suggest removing background objects or enhancing depth of field. The user just needs to click one button, and the edit is done automatically.
Photoshop also now allows interaction with the AI using plain language. Users describe what they want to do, and the agent executes the commands. This helps users learn complex functions more quickly.
In Premiere Pro, the AI agent assists with rough cuts, frame selection, color correction, and audio mixing. It analyzes the video, identifies needed elements, and simplifies locating and editing fragments.
Adobe emphasizes: “Agents don’t replace human creativity — they speed up the process and help users learn complex tasks.” More details about the technology will be presented at the Adobe Max event in London on April 24.
Social media users generally respond positively to the innovation. They note the convenience and speed, though some express concerns about losing control over the outcome.
